The Campus

Situated just 12 kilometers outside the Southern Coastal town of Pondicherry - which has wide and elegant avenues created as per the French architecture and town planning - Pondicherry University is located on a sprawling, 780 acre campus that gently slopes towards the sea. This campus, housed behind 2-story high boundary wall, is accessible only through two gates which are guarded twenty-four hours a day.

In and Around the Campus

Just outside the campus there a number of shops and establishments - multi-cuisine restaurants, cyber café, grocery store, telephone booth and many more. Public or private transportation takes one to the main town within a few minutes.
