Indo-US Relations

The United States of America emerged as a global power after the Second World War. Simultaneously India too became independent and started playing a significant role in shaping the world politics. As the two countries followed divergent paths to “make the world a safe place”, differences of opinion were bound to take place. However, things changed for better with the end of the Cold War. It makes an interesting study to explore the nature of bilateral relations between these two world's largest democracies that have seen more ups and downs in the past half a century.
